Everything was as described: It is a nicely bound paperback consisting of what looks the same as a black & white Xerox copy of the original 1910 book. HOWEVER the illustrations are mostly (not consistently) TOO LIGHT (not dark). If you look at the Google Books version on-line you will see how the illustration should look - BUT THESE DO NOT. This is an annoyance, especially if you are reading it to a young child who likes to look at the pictures. I’m going to print the illustrations out by making screen shots from the Google E-books site. While Wallace Goldsmith’s illustrations are not of high quality by modern adult standards, I’m sure a 5 year old will appreciate them.

Made an 88 year old man very happy to get something from his childhood.
